A steady little run through the New Forest, visiting sites of the old WW2 airfields.

The plan will be to meet for breakfast/coffee around 9.00am at Hockey’s Farm Café, then trundle round the 10 viable sites of the old airfields and memorials, from Ibsley to Calshot to Lymington, and Bisterne, with a stop at Sammy Miller’s Café on the return leg.

This will mostly be on 40mph roads, so will be a leisurely ride, most suited to slower (and smaller capacity) machines. Approx 70-80 miles and finish mid-afternoon.
